TERMS OF COMPETITION
Format of Play
Team Composition
Team aggregate stroke play and Individual Stroke play (Triple Bogey Pickup)
Mens Team shall be composed of a minimum of three(3) players
Womens Team shall be composed of a minimum of two(2) players
Tournament Guidelines
1. Team Composition must be submitted together with proof of enrollment on or before the deadline set on June 2 before 5:00pm
2. A school may field more than 1 team, subject to availability of slots and approval by the Tournament Director.
3. Team format is stroke play aggregate – all to count.
4. Individual format is stroke play.
5. Players who will arrive late on the tee will still be allowed to play provided that the player will have triple bogey on the holes he missed to play.
6. There will be no official practice round. You may however contact the Golf office of the host venue to book a practice round and your own account.

8. Proper golf attire must be strictly observed by all players and gallery. Everyone is encouraged to wear their school varsity uniform.
RULES
The competition will be played in accordance with the Rules of Golf as approved by the R&A Rules Limited, USGA & the Local rules of the Golf Course
ELIGIBILITY
This tournament is open to all college students currently enrolled for the present school year. A proof of enrollment must be submitted upon registration. All entries shall be accepted on a first come, first served basis. All participants regardless if they belong to a team or not are automatically entered in the individual competition.
DIVISION
Mens division and Womens division shall play a single day stroke play format.
AWARDS
Team Competition – Mens Division and Womens Division
Awards and recognition shall be given to the Team Champion, Team runner-up and team 2nd runner-up. Medals will be given to each member of the team.
Individual Competition – Mens Division and Womens Division
Medals will be given to the Individual Champion, runner-up and 2nd runner-up
TIES
For ties in team champion: The tied teams shall designate the worst-scoring player who will participate in a sudden-death playoff until a winner is determined. The playoff hole shall be determined by the tournament director.
For ties in the individual champion. The tied individuals shall participate in a sudden-death playoff until a winner is determined. The playoff hole shall be determined by the tournament director.
Ties for all other places shall be settled according to the best back 9 score, if still tied, best last 6 holes, if still tied, best last 3 holes, if still tied, hole by hole counting from hole 18 backwards, if still tied, toss a coin.
If, for whatever reason, weather or darkness may not permit the said sudden death playoff. The Tournament Director reserves the right to determine whichever method necessary to determine a champion.
WEATHER CONDITIONS or FORCE MAJEUR
If PAGASA raises a storm warning signal number 1 or worse affecting the vicinity of the Host Golf Course, the tournament is automatically canceled and will be postponed on a later date. In cases where PAGASA has not given any official warning, the Tournament Director shall have the authority to decide if a cancellation or postponement is necessary.
CADDIES
Only Club designated caddies are allowed. No personal caddies will be permitted.
GOLF CARTS
Golf Carts shall be provided on a sharing basis and for the account of the players.
DISTANCE MEASURING DEVICE
A player may obtain distance information by using a device that measures distance only. If, during the round, a player uses a distance measuring device that is designated to guage or measure other conditions that might affect his play, the player is in breach of Rule4.3(1), for which the penalty is disqualification, whether any such additional function is actually used.
PACE OF PLAY
Players will be allowed a reasonable time for a round as determined by the local rule or the tournament director. A warning will be given if during a round, a group has exceeded a time and has fallen behind the group in front of them. If while being timed, a player exceeds the time allowed on a shot he will be deemed “a bad time.” Penalty of breach as follows:
First Bad Time Warning
Second Bad Time 1 stroke penalty
Third Bad Time and succeeding 2 strokes penalty
The committee may apply a penalty for undue delay even without prior warning. Make sure to stay with the group ahead of you.
SPECTATORS
Spectators or Gallery shall be allowed as prescribed by the rules and regulations of the host club As a general rule, Spectators will walk the whole duration of the tournament,
The tournament committee may release carts to the gallery, depending on cart availability, Last priority for cart distribution will be the gallery.
Spectators are allowed on Cart Paths only and are not allowed to communicate or interact with any of the players. Penalty for such breach is disqualification for the players involved and the gallery will be asked to leave the golf premises immediately. Players are also not allowed to ride carts with the gallery.
THE ORGANIZING COMMITTEE HEADED BY THE TOURNAMENT DIRECTOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO AMEND ANY CONDITIONS STIPULATED IN THIS TERMS. THE TOURNAMENT COMMITTEE SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ADMINISTRATION OF THE COMPETITION AND RESERVES THE RIGHT TO AMEND THE CONDITIONS OF PLAY BEFORE AND DURING THE TOURNAMENT. DISPUTES, IF ANY, SHALL BE SETTLED BY THE TOURNAMENT DIRECTOR THRU THE COMMITTEE, WHOSE DECISIONS IN ALL MATTER SHALL BE FINAL. THE COMPETITION SHALL BE DEEMED CLOSED WHEN THE AWARDS HAS BEEN PRESENTED
ALL DECISIONS OF THE TOURNAMENT DIRECTOR AND TOURNAMENT COMMITTEE SHALL BE FINAL.
