1. The JGFP has a NO REFUND policy.
2. Once a player has registered, they are deemed to be accepted into the event. Participants are expected to pay the tournament fee, show up at the event and be prepared to play.
WITHDRAWALS
The JGFP understands that there may be circumstances when withdrawing from an event cannot be avoided. Such circumstances may include illness, injury or personal emergency.
Withdrawals fall under two categories:
a.) Prior to 72 hours of the first day of the event – credit minus an administrative fee of Php 500 will be applied towards the next tournament. Credit may only be applied to future tournaments and not towards membership.
b.) Within 72 hours – entire tournament fee will be forfeited regardless of reason for withdrawal.
If you are withdrawing on the day of an event, as a courtesy, please call the JGFP secretariat. This will allow any waitlisted player to be added into the field.
NO-SHOW POLICY
Failure to withdraw by notifying the JGFP prior to 24 hours of the first day of the event, player will forfeit entry fee and will result in suspension from all remaining tournaments for the year. Players may appeal the suspension in writing a letter addressed to the JGFP Tournament Committee.
