The Junior Golf Foundation of the Philippines is back with its biggest tournament this year for the opening of the 2019 Interschool Championship on September 28 at the Eagle Ridge Golf and Country Club.
Thirty-seven teams across the country including 180 players will test their mettle against their rivals to determine this year’s best player and school.
The Interschool Championship is the foundation’s cornerstone grassroots development program which helps in promoting the sport and encouraging more schools to form and participate in the biggest junior Interschool event.
Participating schools this year are Ateneo de Cebu, Ateneo de Manila University, Brent International School, British School Manila, Calvert Education, Colegio San Agustin, De La Salle Santiago Zobel, Dominican School Manila, Elizabeth Seton School, Homeschool Global, Immaculate Conception Academy, La Salle Green Hills, Lamblight Catholic School, Life Academy International, Makati Hope Christian School, Meridian International Learning Experience, Mgc New Life Christian Academy, MHCS, Morning Star Montessori School, Inc., Mother Goose Special Science High School, Multiple Intelligence International School, Nest School for Whole Child Development, PAREF Southridge School, PAREF Woodrose, Phlippine School Of Tomorrow, Poveda, Pres Diosdado Macapagal NHS, Reedley International school, Saint Francis of Assisi College, Saint Jude Catholic School, Singapore School Manila, SSIS, St Paul’s College Pasig, St. Paul Learning Center Cebu, The Beacon School, University of Batangas, and the Xavier School.
The championship will roam different courses such as Riviera Sports and Country Club (September 28 and 29, October 26 and 27), Southlinks Golf Club (October 5 and 6, November 9 and 10), Intramuros Golf Club (October 19 and 20), the Royal Northwoods Golf and Country Club, Valley Golf and Country club
