PINOY BETS TEE OFF IN IMG ACADEMY JUNIOR WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP

A 42-strong delegation will represent the Philippines in the upcoming IMG Academy Junior World Championships slated from July 8 to July 12 in San Diego California.
Founded in 1968, the IMG Academy tournament has grown over to 1,200 participants representing 56 countries and 42 states.
The contingent will be led by Southeast Asian Games-bound players Aidric Chan, Sean Jean Ramos and Luigi Paolo Wong, who will plunge into action in the boys’ 15 to 18 division along with Jacob Rollida and Paolo Barro.
Lorenz Kayla Nocum, Maria Rafael Singson, Bernice Ilas, and Samantha Dizon will banner the girls’ 15- 18 division.
The 13-14 age-group will be represented by Miguel Ilas, Jet Hernandez, Francis Lanuza, and Santino Diokno in the boy’s division while Eagle Ace Superal, Burberry Zhang, and Alysa Danne Aurello will play in the girl’s division.
Santino Pineda will take charge in the boys’ 11-12 together with Cliff Richard Nuneza, Rafael Ilas, and Juan Escaño.
Rianne Malixi, Grace Quintanilla, Alethea Gaccion, and Abby Abarcas, on the other hand, will compete in the girls’ 11-12.
In the girls’ 9-10, Stevie Umali will be teamed up with Celine Abalos, Alessandra Luciano and Coco Ong while Luis Ballesteros, Armand Copok, Patrick Gene Tambalque and Rafael Leonio will play in the boys’ division.
Other players competing are Elena Kate Lanuza (girls’ 6-under); Mona Sarines, Francesca Gan, Lisa Sarines, and Precious Zaragosa (girls’ 7-8); Vito Sarines and Zayle Torres (boys’ 6-under); Kyle Ng, Andres Dancel, and Inno Miguel Flores (boys’ 7-8).
